I find it difficult to believe that these women who are active in politics don’t know who Nick Fuentes is. I do, and I’m just an old retired chick. Liars, I think…

I find it astounding that these people are willing to speak at these events and neither their people or themselves take the responsibility to vet them out...they are out and out liars...it getting tougher and tougher for them to justify their actions...they know exactly what they are doing...the problem is that most "young white conservatives" are leaning so far right - they are "guilty of association" with Nazis...

I have to laugh when Trump says "Putin's changed". Trump's afraid that the GOP support of Ukraine is going to backfire on him, and he's trying to distance himself as far away from Putin as he can. Dems would be wise to revisit that Helsinki meeting that Trump had with Putin when he was asked about whether he believed his own intelligence reports about Russia interfering in the 2016 elections and Trump replied "President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be". Only to try to walk it by saying he meant "wouldn't" instead of "would".

My father used to own a gas station, or three. Back in the day we called 'em "Service Stations" because much auto repair also took place there. That's how we made our money, by selling repair services, parts, and what was called TBA (tires, batteries, & accessories). We accepted oil company credit cards and used those CC payments to pay the tanker when we'd get a delivery of gas. Thus, the price that people were paying was the price per gallon that we got charged when that tanker load was delivered, until we got notice from the refinery, distributor, or oil company that there was a price change.

The distribution point (or oil company) would tell us when the price to the tanker was going to rise, so we had to adjust our prices enough to pay for the next load of gas. If we didn't, we'd come up short when it came time to pay for the next load. This is why it always aggravates me when people start blaming the President, or their state & local politicians for the rise in gas prices. That price has to climb when the station is notified that they're going to have to pay more for the next load. The price can recede when they're notified that the price will drop with the next load. In between, they're still selling gas based on the last per gallon price they were charged.

It's been a loooooong time since my dad had his service stations. I have no idea if stations still pay for gas this way, or if they've developed another mechanism. Just remember, when you hear that the price of OIL has increased, that doesn't mean that the oil already being refined has gone up. And when prices come down, that doesn't mean that gas prices will also drop, because they bought their current supply of oil to refine at higher prices. Yes, the oil companies are still making bank - but don't blame the politicians and, for pity's sake, don't blame the station owners.
