Great synopsis of Barr's malfeasance. Every time I read about this I don't know if I get more frustrated or more angry. Keep up the great work!

Without a book deal in sight, Barr is not finished with his precision autocratic job performance. The checks must still be rolling in.

One of the most excellent articles you’ve ever written and one I wish everyone would read. It’s no wonder so many people believed all the baloney Trump fed the media. He had the backup of the DOJ.

Excellent analysis, David. I expect nothing less from Public Notice.

I don't invest a lot of hope in Dick Durbin.

Great reporting, and I really enjoy all of the details here. I agree that this should be investigated further and the Senate would be the place to do it. But do you think there's the political appetite for it now, especially with such a razor thin margin and at least two defectors, Manchin and Sinema, in the wings?

When I contacted Durban’s office about the lack of progress in indicting trump re January 6 no one even bothered to reply. He needs to retire. He’s not in the greatest health. Maybe Aaron can get Amy Klobuchar to nudge him on.

Garland’s worse than worthless, he’s malevolent. He swept every one of orangehead's crimes under the rug, refused to act while the statutes of limitation lapsed, and deferred to state-level prosecutors take on plain-as-day federal offenses like orangehead's call to Brad Raffensberger. Garland has never explained why he refused to prosecute the Mueller crimes, or the Daniels bribe. He will not to do anything about Barr’s criminal reign of terror at DOJ. Hell they probably swap Christmas Cards every year.

Barr certainly has much to answer for and his conduct gives the lie about the Repbulicans concern about 'weaponizing government'. But with Donald Trump the likely Republican nominee (of Mr De Santis who is arguably more extreme in his convictions) I think the Democrats have bigger fish to fry.
