The fact that Americans are expected to vote for these unserious trolls to take control of one or both houses of Congress because transsexuals swimming in college sports and historical books with naked pictures in them are more important than things like democracy, the Constitution, allowing fellow Americans to die because they're in "blue states", governing, hypocrisy, supporting "law and order" only when "law and order" is working against the other side, etc., is something with which I will never be able to come to terms, and what will drive me to spend my retirement years in another country because this one is filled with people who are utterly disinterested in things that actually matter.
